Tuesday, January 9th is National Static Electricity Day. How shocking? On this day, you’re welcome to buildup static electricity and shock those near you in celebration, but also keep a lookout for those looking to celebrate the day too. During these dry winter months, it is recommended to walk around the house or office holding a key or a metal pen, in your hand, to help discharge the buildup of static electricity.
