Did You Know
On February 18, 1946, the first cable television test was successfully completed. Television signals were transmitted from Washington D.C. to New York City over an AT&T coaxial cable. During the telecast, General Dwight Eisenhower placed a wreath at the base of the statue in Lincoln Memorial and others made speeches. Considered a successful webcast by engineers, the Time magazine called it "as blurred as an early Chaplin movie."
Have a great week and keep networking!
