I try to repeatedly change my name in my Ciena Community profile under "Edit Profile", and although I can change other fields in my profile it never lets me change my name.
Hi Jeff Norman, currently Ciena employees unfortunately can't edit their name due to information being pulled from our active directory. You're not the first to ask about this feature, so we do have plans for updates to this integration in the future and will be looking to make it so you can edit your name.
Thanks Heather, I was fearing that might be the answer, or perhaps if it might have been possible to instead pull the name from the Preferred Name in our profiles in Workday.
