Hey all, thanks for reading.

I was troubleshooting a turn up when I noticed a strange error in my 5150.

CN5150-PTLD> flo mac show vlan 2712

NOTE: The software-based L2 MAC entry table is currently out-of-sync with the

hardware-based L2 MAC entry table, therefore there may be entries learned

by the hardware that is not known by software when displaying the MAC

entry table or service access control (SAC) entries.

The tables can be re-synced by manually flushing MAC entries by using the

      "flow mac-addr flush" CLI command.

+------------------------- FLOW MAC-LEARN TABLE -------------------------+

| VLAN   | Address (SA)      | Port            | Type  | Virtual Switch  |

+--------+-------------------+-----------------+-------+-----------------+

| 2712   | 00:15:AD:35:44:AF | 2.1             | Dyna  | ---             |

| 2712   | 5C:5E:AB:DC:ED:00 | 1.27            | Dyna  | ---             |

+--------+-------------------+-----------------+-------+-----------------+

It made me think that there could be something eating up CPU, so I did a diag shell and ran top and saw this strange process (main_1243) using around 50% of my CPU.

CN5150-PTLD> diag shell

gss@CN5150-PTLD:~$ top

I then checked my 5142 to see if there was a similar process running in that device and there was:

gss@CN5142-BOST:~$ top

Any ideas what that could be?  I've never noticed it before and it makes me a bit nervous.
