I know PSW supports 10G WAN PHY interface as UNI. Does PSW card support WAN PHY like interface with OTN L1 link protocol instead of SDH/SONET? Note that the other end is 3rd party equipment.

The PSW family of packet modules support the following interface protocols:
Optical Transport Optional 10GbE rates: OTU2, OTU2E or OTU1E (PSW-10G10: all ports; PSW-618: up to 4 ports) Optional 100GbE rate: OTU4 Optional ITU-T G.709 and OTN support on all DWDM interfaces Optional ITU-T G.975 GFEC and Enhanced Forward Error Correction (EFEC)Interfaces PSW-100G: 1 x 100GbE LAN (CFP) PSW-10G10: 10 x 10GbE LAN/WAN (four XFP and six SFP+) PSW-618: 6 x 10GbE LAN/WAN (SFP+) and 18GbE or 10/100 Ethernet LAN (SFP)As long as the 3rd party equipment can support one of the above listed protocols there should be no issues using a PSW module as an interconnect between devices.
Yes. 10G ports on the PSW-10G10 and PSW-618 cards support both 10GE LAN PHY and 10GE WAN PHY:
Ports 5-6 on the PSW-618 do not support OTN functionality.
Hi Heather, John, Mark
