When asked about advice for women in technology and how they can succeed in the industry, I keep coming back to authenticity, confidence and staying true to your principles. They all work together: you need to be authentic to be credible, unique and to make real connections with others; you also need to have confidence in your skills, contributions, and belief system. This ultimately provides empowerment to stick up for the right thing to do and make a real difference ultimately leading to yours and others’ success. And it’s probably fair to add--at the end of the day, you certainly have to work your tail off! I would love to hear from the community...what is your success advice for women in technology?
