Is there a site manager available for MAC OS . If not is there a way how we can use the site manager on Mac Os
Site Manager is available for Mac OS. You can download it from the portal by going to my.ciena.com and logging in with your account. Then go to Downloads and choose OME 6500 from the Available Downloads drop-down menu. The ones for Mac are named SM_####_mac in the Ciena Part # column.
I have so far installed 12.2.1 on MAC and it does not support 10.2
Looks like windows versions have a different support as opposed to MAC as i could not get any version to have my 10.2 supported on mac.
I was only able to find from version 11 onwards, actually we run version 10.2. Site Managers are backwards compatible and if i run 12.2 SM , i can still connect to my Chasis running 10.2 ri8
You should be able to but you can check by going to Help > About Site Manager in Site Manager. I use Site Manager version 12.2 for Windows and it supports as far back as 6500 version 9.2.
Swagat, we would love to hear an update from you. Were you able to get Site Manager installed?
I went ahead and closed the question based on your confirmation on locating the software based on Chelsi's recommendation, but you're welcome to continue asking questions on this topic and sharing updates with is us on the thread. Look forward to hearing from you.
