Did You Know

Earlier this year, the hit TV series, American Crime Story, released its second season featuring the story of the assassination of world-renowned fashion designer, Gianni Versace, and his crazed killer, Andrew Cunanan. But, did you know that on July 27, 1997, 12 days after the crime, Joseph McNamara (San Jose Police Chief at the time) was quoted in an article in the LA Times stating that equipping local police with more up-to-date technology and computers likely would have prevented Versace's untimely death. Earlier in the week, the police received a tip about Cunanan's whereabouts, however, due to their antiquated computer systems, the tip was still waiting to be entered into the digital system from a physical paper at the time of Versace's death.

Have a great week and keep networking!
