Benchmark Reflector for QnQ on 6.15

I am having an issue with using the Benchmark Reflector config for a "Mac-swap" test loop on a TLS circuit.

On Box A I have a JDSU Ethernet test set pushing traffic on VLAN 777. I have set a reflector on Box B hoping it would loop the JDSU test set. Using the standard Benchmark Reflector config with a VC on the handoff port, the loop test would not work. However, if I move the reflector to port 2 and simply added the test vlan to port 2 the test works. Bottom line, should the Benchmark reflector config work for a VC configured port like it does with a port simple configured with a vid. It appears to not work with a “QnQ’ configured port. Configs are below. The test vlan is 777.

Box A, generator (traffic is being generated from a JDSU Ethernet test set)

virtual-circuit ethernet create vc VC-777 vlan 777 statistics on

virtual-switch ethernet create vs VS-777 vc VC-777

virtual-switch ethernet add vs VS-777 port 1 vlan 777

port set port 1 untagged-data-vs VS-777

Box B where we are hoping to place the reflecto on port 1 (aka customer handoff)r:

virtual-circuit ethernet create vc VC-777 vlan 777 statistics on

virtual-switch ethernet create vs VS-777 vc VC-777

virtual-switch ethernet add vs VS-777 port 1 vlan 777

port set port 1 untagged-data-vs VS-777

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Unsuccessful config –

benchmark set port 1

benchmark reflector set vid 777

benchmark reflector enable

benchmark set mode out-of-service

benchmark enable

Config that worked –

Vlan add vlan 777 port 2

benchmark set port 2

benchmark reflector set vid 777

benchmark reflector enable

benchmark set mode out-of-service

benchmark enable
